A Healing Doula Academy
Our Ancestors knew that Grief and Death were transitions for both the living and the dead. They were clear that those walking through them must be handled with ritual, care and grace.
As we watch our world change around us, we are also witnessing a collective desire to reclaim a slower pace, simpler ways, a different approach to healing and a return to sacred ancestral medicine.
Acceptance to A Healing Doula Academy is an opportunity to be educated in ancient Spiritual and Holistic traditions and care. To deepen one’s understanding of Grief and Death. And to become skilled in the ways that empower ourselves and our communities.
This Academy is open to those who identify as women.
Why might you ask?
Ancient cultures revered women, and the divine feminine energy, as the rightful oracles, wisdom keepers, priestesses, herbalists, diviners and healers. It was known that women were the bridge between the Spirit world and this Earthly plane and they were honored for their gifts.
Over time a false narrative emerged built on the fear of losing control and power. It was determined that these women, and their knowledge, were to be shamed and ostracized. Much of the ancient teachings were repurposed and plagiarized. Those who survived were forced to practice secretly, and pass down their wisdom orally from one generation to the next. Many chose to walk away from their power in fear of retribution.
It’s time for women to remember the magic they carry in their bloodline. It’s time to reclaim the teachings.
